Dushi Kòrsou

It’s the trip that has been delayed for 18+ months. We were supposed to come to this Dutch Caribbean island during the spring break last year but of course covid was in the way. Papi had always wanted to show the kids the Caribbean, where he spent most of his happy childhoold – the sun, the 7-shades of shallow turquoise water, the white-sand beaches, full of corals and tropical fish and creatures, where you could just put a camping chair in the water with your beer and never have to get out for the entire day…lol

Met up with our cousins from Quito in Panama. It was so endearing that four of them got along so well and the fact that A and Isa were holding hands most times. I suppose that’s that they would remember, not so much of the amazing sunset, beautiful sandy beaches, fun party catamaran but the precious “screen time” and freeze tags with the primas. That’s how we would remember it too.
