What am I?

My birthday present from papi finally arrived. Well, more like the "result" of my birthday present has arrived. Papi gave me the ancestry DNA kit for birthday and this morning I got an email saying that your results were in.

I am curious and eager to find out "what am I". According to their estimate, I am the descendant from Asia East (92%) and Polynesia (8%). How exotic! Polynesia? It is somewhat surprising yet not surprising - as (I knew) the aborigines in Taiwan are related to Polynesians, who are believed to be the ancestors of the Maori people. So if my math is correct, approximately 4 generations back (125 years), my great great gram or grandpa was married to a Taiwanese aborigine. Mostly likely what happened is that a Han male was married (as they came alone) to a Taiwanese aborigine female and I am the result of it.

This is so interesting - how we are all related and intertwined by DNA. Is it too tacky to say that "we are the world"?
