the next right thing

shamrock from grand uncle's farm

Had a lovely visit in Taiwan. It was the first time going there without any “commitment” (wedding, funeral, CNY...) We just wanted to visit, visit families. Seeing little T after almost 6 months was definitely comforting. He’s grown from a new born to a chubby little baby. You would have been proud, sis. It was nice seeing the grams who are in their 90’s, living, enjoying, and celebrating life.

Taking the kids to watch Frozen 2 to kill a Saturday night after we came back. It turned out to be the movie for me...for me to grieve..for me to reflect...felt as if you were sending me the message...

Just do the next right thing
Take a step, step again
It is all that I can to do
The next right thing

I won't look too far ahead
It's too much for me to take
But break it down to this next breath
This next step
This next choice is one that I can make

Really..that’s all we can do. One step at a time, one day at a time. It gets harder as holiday season is approaching. Will be looking for you among the stars that shine on Christmas night.
