pismo

We have been going through the so-called "pandemic fatigue", tired of the quarantine and limited socializing. As much as we tried to confine ourselves and restrain our activities, we really needed to get out. Taking advantage that the kids have some time off during the Thanksgiving, we took a road trip up the coast to the infamous Pismo Beach, the only place in central California where one can drive the car on the beach.

Surprised that there were barely anyone by the Oceano sand dune, we were able to have our own "tailgate party" with waves crashing to the car. Feeling so much disconnected from the hustle and bustle of LA. Almost forgot how much we miss driving on the road/hi-ways where there where we were the only car on the road, just like in the Andes and the Amazons.

In between the gusty wind messing up our hair and kids building sand castles and pool, it had come so clear to us and we made an important move.
