2nd anni

Two years ago today we moved from the city of eternal spring (UIO) to the city of angel (LAX). This is my eighth country in fourteen years.

10 years back when I just started ESADE (has it really been that long? we are having our 10-year reunion this September), they asked us to fill out a series of personal questions in the LEAD program. There was this particular question that I remembered dearly (I believe that it was the last question on the page too) - what kind of life do you want in the future? (what kind of life do you envision yourself to live)...

I wrote down "an exciting, adventurous life, living from place to place and experiencing different cultures." When we found out that we were moving to L.A. two years back, I smiled and murmured to myself, "be careful what you wish for." We thought that Quito was our last stop, our home, and the place where we "echar raices". Guess not!

Moving up north somewhat implicates that we have set out our globetrotter journey life, again, but this time with 2 more members, and it will not stop from here.
