Financial Pornography?

I was dozing off in my financial anaysis class, then out of sudden I heard "it made no sense, it is FINANCIAL PORNOGRAPHY!!" said our VERY VERY financial professor J. Totally dragged me back from the la la land. So what is financial pornography anyways? According to our dear professor J,

financial pornography occurs
when cash ratio (cash/short term debt) = 1

What does it mean? Well, since cash is rather volatile and the level of cash changes all the time (probably every minute as the firm operates), it is not rational to have a cash ratio = 1. The average cash ratio should be around 0.016 to 0.018.

How dorky is this!!! I cannot believe I am actually blogging about my financial class and the VERY VERY "funny" joke made by the professor.
