Vera-Donostia-Getaria: a green weekend

So green & refreshing! Thought I had arrived in the swiss alps. Na, it’s actually the region of navarra close to donostia (san Sebastian). The under-rated scenery had a lot to offer: small cattle-farming towns, peaceful communities, old cathedrals, alpine cottages, and off-beaten hiking trails—nowhere else is better than Vera for a weekend getaway from the hustle ‘n bustle barcelona. Sipping a glass of txokali from the local winery with freshly-caught lupina from the Atlantic—so jealous of O, who will totally take advantage of weekend getaways like this by staying in BCN.
